Our Race Bike - Aprilia Racing RS660 Trofeo
A new addition to the Two Daves Racing fleet is the 2022-model Aprilia Racing RS660 Trofeo. The RS660 Trofeo is a factory-built race machine produced by the Aprilia Racing "Factory" division.

Our particular machine, which is "one of the first of the 2022 batch", was delivered to us in March 2022.
The specification of the machine is distinctly different from the road-based Aprilia RS660 - particularly with regards to the electronics suite which has been "reprogrammed for racing usage and the electronic strategies have been developed by Aprilia Racing for this specific racing version of RS660. Electronic strategies, WheelieControl/EngineBraking/TractionControl are specific for racing usage and can be tuned on different levels". The dashboard has also been updated to display race-focused rather than road-focused information to the rider.

For the 2023 season, the bike took a trip to PHR Performance for some performance upgrades. Our RS660 now has PHR porting and cams, along with a Rapid bike Racing module fitted. These changes mean that we now have a monstrous 110.12bhp at the rear wheel!
At the start of the 2022 season (following the initial run-in mileage) the dyno showed 92.1bhp. Prior to the work at PHR the bike was then showing 97.9bhp, which means we will have an additional 12+bhp for this coming season.
