Season Preparation

Machine Changes
Over the winter our Kawasaki ZX6R spent some considerable time with MSS Performance and was transformed from "Superstock" specification to "Supersport" specification. The end result is that we have more power all the way through the rev range, with a substantial increase over the last few thousand revs.

Machine Changes
Over the winter our Kawasaki ZX6R spent some considerable time with MSS Performance and was transformed from "Superstock" specification to "Supersport" specification. The end result is that we have more power all the way through the rev range, with a substantial increase over the last few thousand revs.
Eazi-grip will be supplying some orange-coloured silicone hoses to match with our colour scheme, so when they arrive we will install them. Last season, a lower radiator extension was acquired to enable cooler running in the summer months. This wasn't fitted last season, but is ready to be installed if the "in race" water temperature consistently goes above 75 degrees.

Consumables
Rock Oil have graciously decided to continue their sponsorship of Two Daves Racing for the 2020 season, so a batch of fully-synthetic Synthesis 10w40 oil, some Rock Oil lubes and a number of genuine Kawasaki oil filters have been added to the workshop.

To start off our season, a collection of brand-new race tyres have been purchased so that we can ensure that our race machines will never need to suffer from using sub-par rubber. After using the EBC GPFAX pads to good effect throughout the 2019 season, we decided to keep them as our 'chosen pad' - so a spare set has been purchased for each machine.

Race Dates
After much deliberation, we are finally ready to announce our race dates for the 2020 season!
As per previous seasons, we plan to race with Darley Moor once again on our trusty Kawasaki Supersport and Kawasaki Supertwin machines. We will focus on the Formula 600 class and will attempt to match our 2019 championship finishing position of "Top 2" - but hopefully finish the season as the championship winner! :-)
We also plan to "wildcard" in an additional event at our local circuit of Oulton Park with the No Limits Racing club. Other race meetings and possibly some track days may also be added throughout the season...
