On Saturday 28th January 2023, the awards presentation evening for the 2022 Darley Moor club championships took place. As usual, the room was packed to the brim with around 300 attendees and it was a fantastic evening that everyone enjoyed.

A special gift (from Tony Else) was waiting for us on the table when we arrived. Having won the Twins championship and finished championship runner-up in the Formula 600 class in 2022, we were called up twice to collect trophies from 'Stars at Darley' winner Richard Cooper, 'multiple Sidecar World Champions' Tom & Ben Birchall, as well as Don Ryder and Miles Brough.

With celebrations carrying on beyond 2am on the Sunday morning, a bit of recovery time will probably be needed this coming week... :-)
