Oulton Park in Cheshire was the venue for the first test of 2013, which took place on Saturday 23rd February. After a lot of work by Dynopro Racing & Tim Poole of the Poole Performance Centre (as well as myself!) within the week leading up to the test, the bike was finally ready to go at 10.30pm the night before!
The test session itself went well. New brake pads were bedded in, a few minor issues were identified and fixed. Snow arriving in the afternoon cut the test session short, but I was feeling comfortable on the bike, which is unusual for me after not riding for months, so that bodes well for the next pre-season test.
