Following the announcement of a Kawasaki ZX6R joining our fleet, we thought we would provide some further details on the machine's history and specification.
The bike was converted into a British Superstock 600 machine by C.P.E. Motorsport (Cobra Precision Engineering) and was ridden by Levi Day during the 2014 race season, where he achieved some front row qualifying starts and a best finish of 5th place at Silverstone.

Racing in televised British Championship races, the bike managed to get some screen time (both good and bad - as shown in the video below) as well as mentions on Levi's Blog and Twitter pages.
The bike was subsequently upgraded to more of a "Superstock Evo" specification (where it remains today - see below for details) and ownership was transferred to C.P.E. Motorsport pit crew member James Kenward who then raced the bike in selected BEMSEE events.
