Over the weekend (16th/17th February), work on the bike continued and we had the bike running for the first time since the engine (and bike!) was rebuilt. She runs and sounds great! After having the bike running, the wiring loom has since been stripped down and all unneccessary electrical connections (such as the horn, headlights, etc that are not needed for racing) have been removed.
Through the week, work will continue and then we'll pass the bike to Dynopro Racing in Runcorn where they will run-in the bike, then setup the fuelling & ignition.
Once we have the bike back from Dynopro Racing we'll finish all the remaining little jobs, mount the bodywork & post up a photo of our newly rebuilt Kawasaki ER650 Supertwin! :-)
